I had never asked me which is the photo that I like the most and in general I almost never take a picture and if I take me a picture is with my family or with my girlfriend. I looked for google photos that could convey something to me and one and one caught my attention. This photo is the following:
This photo, properly titled "A sticky mess" was taken by the Thai photographer Athit Perawongmeth back on July 27th, 2013. It portays surface of an oil slick coating a normally idyllic beach on the Thai holiday island of Koh Samet which has been blighted by thousands of litres of crude that spewed from a leaking pipeline into the Gulf of Thailand. Well, I liked this picture because reflect the envariomental pollution that exists in this world.Considering that it makes me feel bad to see how we destroy the world little by little. This shows us that we must begin to change, to change our way of seeing the world and to see the reality in which we live, trying to take care of our environment.
Hi Mauricio. How deep this photo can be interpreted in many ways. Why did it get your attention?
